about me
After much research on how to write an epic about me section. I realized that this could be the one area that I would struggle with the most. You see, I have no issues with writing, that, I enjoy. However, to ‘sell’ myself, now that is another story all together. To add to the challenge I have been through so much in life. I wouldn’t know what to write and what to leave out! (yes, I am one of those ‘tell the WHOLE story, in Detail, kinda girls 😊).
And even though I will talk about my life in my posts, giving background and current events. Writing it all here, well that would take a looong time! So, I did what every normal person would do, I passed the buck, so to speak. I asked those who know me to write a testimonial for me, their thoughts on me. Boy was I surprised to hear what they had to say. Never would I of thought of saying the points they mentioned. So, without further delay please read below to hear it from them.

I met Tanya in 2008. I have been given the privilege to witness the true concept of courage. The act of tenacity, the reward of long-suffering and the strength of surrender. The transforming power of love and joy of inward peace amidst the storm.

My mom has an incredible faith that may seem crazy at times but inspires me to follow in her footsteps. She is such a strong, compassionate, and beautiful woman who has so many incredible nuggets of wisdom to share. My mom has helped and inspired so many people along her path and has so many more people to inspire. Mom you’re so full of courage and beauty, I love you so much.
What makes her different?
She is a very faithful woman and is never afraid to give God the credit He is due. She has a great sense of humor. Communication skills, a gift of prayer and has the ability to see situations from all perspectives. I love the fact that she isn’t afraid to say things how they are. She is an open and honest woman.
How my mom’s content will help other people and who it may help.
Through sharing her personal stories it will encourage others who may have been through similar experiences and help them to feel heard and understood.
It may help family members or friends of people who may have been through difficult situations, to know how they felt during those times. It could help others feel that they are not alone and that there are platforms to express and embrace their experiences. And may encourage people to become closer with God and learn to trust Him even when it may seem difficult.

Tanya is an amazing person. She has truly been through a lot in life and is still standing tall and strong after it all. From sexual abuse, to being destitute. To making wrong choices with regards to substance abuse, abortion and even suicide, resulting is lifelong scars. She’s been there. She’s done that.
But in the midst of her journey a profound heart was formed: a heart to help others; a heart that understands life and desperate situations; a heart that wants to give back . To encourage people in their darkest hour, reminding them there is hope and a Jesus who’s arms and love is readily available.
She warns against wrong thinking and the pit falls of life that so readily ensnared herself. She gives hope to the hopeless and an ear to those who need to talk. She’s sincere, honest and raw, choosing to be vulnerable in order to help others. She is wise and understanding. She gives all she can to the cause, she’s caring and she has the passion to go with it.
Why tell you all this?
I believe you will be inspired by her story. By her ongoing journey . And that you will be able to relate and realize you are not alone. Someone else have been through what you are going through and she knows how it feels!
Love you lots and lots you very special lady!
I love the honesty and heartfelt depth of these testimonials. When reading them, one can feel how personal they are, which says a lot about your impact Tanya. Can’t wait to learn more about your journey <3
